A couple of hours before I put my
QR code project to test, I had to introduce the codes to my students. Even if QR codes are seen here and there nowadays, not many people know what they are or what they do (which is a bit of a failure for the entire QR code business). I set out on a mission to make the QR codes known by every kid at school - I put up quite a big number of QR codes on quite a big number of walls. I even managed to make a couple of colleagues rather angry with me when I wallpapered the windows to a classroom when they had a test going on in there.
This was the QR code
Scanning the code opened up a browser which lead the skids to here

| English: "Jesper sees you!" |
Within an hour the kids with smartphones were running around the school scanning codes like crazy, laughing and coming up to me telling me how...well, cool/silly/ugly/funny I am. But hey, now they know what a QR code is and how it works, right?
And that's how you introduce QR codes to a couple of hundred kids in a school.
